Spoofing is a game played with 3 coins of equal size or denomination some say there are elements of luck and perhaps some players may show a little more skill than others.
Christchurch Spoofers are called Canterbury Spoofers and members participate in Regional, National and World Championships.

Welcome to Canterbury Spoofing "WTHAO" Christchurch has been home to the Christchurch Spoofers for around 35 years with likeminded gentlemen meeting twice weekly at the N04 Bar in Merivale. Spoofing is played by any number of players in a series of rounds to establish the winner using 3 coins of the same denomination. In each round coins are held in a closed fist (from zero to three coins) the objective is to guess the total number of coins held in each person’s hand.
