In the St Albans community we organise exercise groups for
women in the area and spend our time collecting rubbish.

The exercise group provides a safe way for women in St Albans
to get out and make friends.

Welcome to Tidy Kiwi Christchurch

To be outside amongst nature, breathing in fresh air, admiring clean and green parks, litter free beaches, nature trails, forests (nature at its best), tidy gardens, litter free streets.
this should not be something we wish for, this should be a reality for all to enjoy. However, some deem to believe that all open spaces are an extension of their personal rubbish disposals.
We can change that.  Don’t look at abandoned litter and tell yourself, “well it wasn’t me that dropped it, so why should I have to pick it up?”. Instead, tell yourself, “every action I take has a resounding effect” - whether you believe it or not.

Numerous times, when I have compromised my own planned relaxed run/walk/hike in nature; stopping to collect rubbish along the way, rather than focus on the lazy act of another, I have instead focused on the positive effect that my small action has made. One less bug, plant, fish etc has had their natural habitat comprised.

Be Kind to yourself and to our home that we call Mother Earth.
