NORMAN KIRK MEMORIAL POOL

Local families are now able to apply for a key that allows them to swim at the pool for longer hours than the general public. The pool season will also last over a month longer for key holders. For more information click here.

PIONEER RECREATION & SPORTS CENTRE
Christchurch Pioneer Recreation & Sport Centre whether you want to swim, relax with the kids or set a personal best in the gym, the Pioneer Recreation and Sport Centre has it all including a gym.

At Pioneer, we offer loads of fun in our indoor pools and swimming lessons for all ages.
We have a great wave pool ehich operates Monday to Friday from 4.30pm and weekends and public holidays from 11.30am  For more information click here.

QEII Pool and Sport Centre
If you want to swim, relax with the kids or set a personal best in the gym, Taiora: QEII Recreation and Sport Centre has you covered. All are welcome whether you’re a member or just want to come on a casual basis.

A popular Christchurch swimming pool for the enthusiasts and local families.
Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre incorporates the existing Halswell Aquatic Centre alongside a 3000 square metre building housing the new library. For more information click here.

TEMPLETON SUMMER POOL

A great spot to keep cool, and splash around with friends and family over summer.
The Templeton Summer Pool is located at 62 Kirk Road, Templeton(external link) and is open from 1 December 2018 to 24 February 2019. For more information click here.

WALTHAM SWIMMING POOL
Waltham Summer Pool is located at 30 Waltham Road, Sydenham and is open from 17 November 2018 to 31 March 2019. You can take the number 17 bus to get here.

WHARENUI SPORTS CENTRE
Wharenui Swim Club Christchurch
The Wharenui Swim Club is one of the premier swim clubs in New Zealand. Founded in 1911 it is also one of the oldest and largest clubs, with a proud history of swimming successes and innovations. Today Wharenui is one of the largest clubs in Christchurch and the South Island and offers quality coaching from our Learn to Swim programme right through to our top squad lead by 1994 Commonwealth Games gold medalist Martin Harris. The club has a strong team culture led by our team captains Evelyn and Chris.
