Dementia Canterbury
Provides information, education and specialised social work support to people with dementia, their family / whanau and friends. At the Grief Centre, we provide support, advice and counselling to help those affected by loss and grief.

Blind Foundation
Christchurch Region The Blind Foundation is New Zealand’s main provider of practical and emotional support for the 12,100 Kiwis who are blind or have low vision, enabling them to face their future with confidence.

Breast Cancer Support
Service Information, support and practical assistance for women with breast cancer. Referral by health professional, or self-referral. Breast Cancer Support volunteers visit women in hospital or their own homes.

Canterbury West Coast Division Support groups for people with a cancer diagnosis and their support people

Coeliac
Supporting those diagnosed with coeliac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis and those on a gluten free diet. We assist those who are gluten free, promote and educate, and collaborate with gluten free manufacturers, medical professionals and support research.

Chronic pain
Burwood Hospital. Pain Management Centre Provides an interdisciplinary approach that is tailored to meet the complex needs of individuals with chronic pain. The aim is to restore functional ability and enable individuals to live as independently as possible.

Deaf
Deaf Aotearoa New Zealand. Canterbury/Westland Branch Equal access and full participation for Deaf people in Aotearoa / New Zealand. Provide an interpreter booking service, service co-ordination, needs assessment, equipment assessment, life skills/vocational training programmes

To provide information, encouragement and support for a person and their family members with diabetes, to educate the public on the importance of early detection and treatment, to support research and training.

Overeaters Anonymous
Overeaters Anonymous is a 12 step fellowship of people who have found a solution to compulsive eating behaviours. We support each other in overcoming our compulsion to eat whether anorexic, bulimic or hopeless overeaters. We are not experts in food addiction.
